Turbine unveiled The Lord of the Rings Online (LOTRO) Adventurer's Pack which contains what every player needs to survive in the chaos of Mirkwood! Siege of Mirkwood and the LOTRO Adventurer's Pack are scheduled to launch on December 1, 2009.

1. SKIRMISH

Jump into battle with the new Skirmish system. Skirmishes offer endless action in randomized instances for 1 to 12 players.

Create and lead your own customizable soldier into battle, training him to greater skill as you earn victories against the forces of shadow. Stand and fight wherever violence erupts with the Skirmish Join feature, which lets you and your friends instantly travel to the fight from anywhere in Middle-earth.

2. RISE TO HEROIC POWER

Advance your hero to level 65, and grow the power of your Legendary Items to level 70. Craft your own Second and Third Age Legendary Items from raw materials. New Legacies, new legendary scrolls, and a fourth Relic slot make your Legendary Items more unique - and more powerful.

3. RAID THE FORTRESS

Strike a blow against Sauron's forces in intense new 3-person instances. Infiltrate the Dungeons of Dol Guldur, the deadly Sword-halls, and the savage Warg-Pens of Dol Guldur, dread fortress of the Ringwraiths.

Join a party of 6 to assail the Sorcerer of Dol Guldur within Sauron's Sancturary of Sammath Gûl. Call upon your fellows to risk the most daring 12-person raid ever devised, and face the ultimate challenge - the Nazgûl Lord, Lieutenant of Dol Guldur. New enhanced combat responsiveness turns up the action like never before!

4. MOUNTS 2.0

Mounts have been entirely revamped! The new mount system will allow you to use certain skills and emotes while riding as well interact with NPCs!

5. SHRED STORAGE

With the purchase of the Adventurer's Pack players can access a new storage system designed to enable sharing between all characters on a given account! Until now, your only options to share items between characters were to mail them individually, deposit them into a personal chest at your home, or have a friend hold them while you switched characters.
