Back in January, Star Trek Online announced the winners of their ship naming contest. The winning ship classes included the Destiny class, which are Tier 5 science vessels.

Cryptic recently released a handy video showing off the Destiny class going through its paces. The short version is this: it's a huge ship with the capability for long term solo missions or shorter term fleet support. It supports a crew of 500.
